St. Teresa Parish Ministers of Care

An outgrowth of Senior Adult Ministry in St. Teresa's Parish, Ministers of Care seek to serve the spiritual needs of ill parishioners and/or their family members. Parishioners who have little or no physical means to attend mass or receive the sacraments can be visited at home or in a facility in the area.

Ministers of Care bring communion to those in need, pray with and for the individual, explain the Sunday scripture readings, inform the person as to the activities within the parish, and offer the gift of friendship.

Do you have a family member, relative, or friend that is a St. Teresa parishioner and is either homebound or a nursing home resident? Would they like to receive Holy Communion? If so, please call Michael Meyer. He will arrange for one of our parish Ministers of Care to visit.
