Embark 2010

Attention High Schoolers. The Third Annual Embark retreat is almost a month away. This year's retreat will be Wednesday, July 28th through Friday, July 30th in Current River, MO. Embark is a float trip, a campout, and a retreat. All at the same time.We're serious about this being a retreat, but it's a low-intensity one with lots of fun and free time. There will be Mass, prayer, and three talks from adult team members. Camping will be at Pulltite campground, with access to water, showers, and flush toilets. Meals will be provided... campfire cooking! We'll float the Current River from Akers Ferry to Round Spring over two days. This stretch of river is fun, but definitely appropriate for beginners. Win $10,000!!

Our 9th Annual $10,000 raffle to benefit our parish and school is now underway. The goal again this year is to sell 200 tickets @ $100 each. The winner will receive $10,000 provided 200 tickets are sold. The 2010 drawing will be held at the Parish Picnic on Saturday, August 28th. You need not be present to win, but you must be at least 18 years of age to purchase a ticket. Raffle tickets may be purchased under the bell tower after all Masses. Tickets are also available at the Rectory. For more information call Dennis at 277-3747.
Parish Picnic Inaugural 5K Run

Come join us for the Inaugural 5K Run. The race starts and ends at St. Teresa’s and goes through the surrounding neighborhoods and the metro path.Registration: Before August 1st: $20, After August 1st or Race Day: $25. T-shirt in packet if you register before August 1st.
Packet Pickup: St. Teresa’s School Parking Lot, Thursday, August 26th from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Saturday, August 28th 7:00 AM -7:30 AM prior to race.

Parish Picnic

We are in need of much help to make our Annual Parish Picnic a success. if you can help, please call Jeff King (236-3638). Remember: Many hands make the work light.
A donation box for the Children's Stands is located in the main entrance of the church. We are looking for new or gently used toys, dolls, stuffed animals, puzzles, fast food meal toys, etc. To arrange for pickup of larger items please call Kevin Bouse (410-1047).
Please remember our quilters could use monetary donations to purchase materials for quilts for our Bingo. If you can help, please put your donation in an envelope marked "Quilts" and drop in the collection basket. If anyone has a handmade, queen size quilt they would like to donate. The quilters also have baby quilts for sale. For more information call Marilyn (234-5876).
Start thinking about your Theme Baskets to be donated for the Basket Booth. Let your imagination run WILD!!!
There will be an American Girl Doll Raffle.
There will also be our delicious Chicken Dinner again this year.
